This work is from a beautiful area along the Marin Headland
at the north of San Francisco Bay. I love to hike along this coast, and on this
day I was lucky to see two grey whales heading south on migration. I love the
way in which you feel when you reach the coast, the light and fresh air makes
me feel alive and light. This work is about that feeling as you stand looking
out to the horizon, suddenly slowing down and breathing in cool air. This work
