The Moon, Oil on Canvas, 18 x 18 inches. During college one
of my science classes was Astronomy.. In NZ, people are very connected to the
land, the seasons, and tides; all play an impact on daily living. The pull of the
moons gravity on water (forming tides) is a beautiful dance it performs as it rotates
around the earth. I have always had a deep affection for the moon, its
reflected light is calming and it lights your way home in the dark.
